We purchased Hotel Rio Vista in June of 2013 and from the get-go we have dedicated all we have to continue the Hotel’s legacy of being a top destination. Each season we host several foreign exchange student workers to work front desk and housekeeping. These students come to further their education and to improve their language skills and with their J1 Visa are able to work for 3-4 months before returning to their home country. Each has a unique background, some have never touched snow before, others are amazed by the beautiful countryside and local community. We provide cultural enrichment opportunities while they are here such as horseback riding, hiking, skiing, and more. We have hosted workers from countries all over the world; including, Albania, Croatia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Malaysia, Peru and Romania.
